Effective communication is at the heart of great leadership. This module equips leaders with a practical toolkit to communicate with clarity, confidence, and impact - even in challenging situations.
Communication Foundations
Recognise effective leadership communication in the workplace and understand the common barriers that prevent messages from landing as intended.
Apply effective techniques to create win/win communication — building trust and mutual understanding across all levels of the organisation.
Difficult conversations & behaviour
Use a practical communication toolkit to defuse tension, de-escalate conflict, and manage difficult behaviour professionally and with confidence.
Feedback & Accountability
Understand the importance of feedback -both developmental and performance-focused - as an integral part of communication. Learn how to deliver constructive challenge that motivates people and holds them accountable for their performance.

This module empowers line managers to take ownership of performance - creating a culture of clarity, development, and accountability within their teams.
Line Manager Responsibilities
Understand the full scope of a line manager's responsibilities when it comes to managing performance - from setting expectations to having honest, timely conversations about progress and outcomes.
Measuring Performance
Be clear about how to measure performance effectively - using meaningful metrics, clear objectives, and consistent standards that give both managers and team members a shared understanding of what success looks like.
Developing people & managing underperformance
